Dr Thomas Giblin

Dr Giblin graduated Dentistry from Sydney University with Honours in 2004. In 2007, after a stint in private practice, Dr Giblin was accepted into a 3-year Advanced Prosthodontics Residency at the University Of Texas Health Science Centre in San Antonio. In his time there, Dr Giblin gained a broad education in all aspects of dentistry, including implant, fixed and removable prosthodontics as well as sleep dentistry, occlusion and TMD.

Since returning, Dr Giblin has worked in several locations before establishing Northern Dental Specialties as a centre of dental excellence for the Northern Beaches of Sydney. He lectures extensively and runs continuing education programs on Implants, Dentures, Occlusion and Oral Rehabilitation. He is also involved with several professional organisations, and is a board member of the ASID in Australia and is a Fellow, Master and Diplomate of the ICOI, as well as being on their Credentialling Committee and the Board of Directors. Dr Giblin, with his Ceramist brother James, also maintains his own in-house full service laboratory which relies heavily on digital technologies for production.

He is a Gemini and enjoys long walks on the beach.
